BTC Inc announced Green's appointment as Chief Executive Officer on 7 November 2025, effective immediately. Its own release describes his tenure at the company since 2017 across several leadership positions, as managing director, chief of staff, and head of events, and states that he takes over from co-founder David Bailey, who moved to chairman of the board.
The events side of the business is the part he came from and the part that now carries much of its revenue. BTC Inc says its conference series drew more than 67,000 attendees in 2025 across events in the United States, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, alongside Bitcoin Magazine, Bitcoin for Corporations and its museum brand. Three months after the appointment the company was acquired by Nakamoto Inc.
