Emily Kee is Director of Operations at Brink, and also the onsite office manager for Brink's London office. She brings more than ten years of combined experience in operations, project management and marketing.
Her work in Bitcoin began with organisational support for projects at Chaincode Labs and at Qala, the developer training programme, before she joined Brink.
The London office is not incidental to the role. Brink funds engineers who work on Bitcoin Core from several countries, and several of its grantees describe the in-person collaboration there as the part that makes the arrangement work: Niklas Gögge and Sebastian Falbesoner both cite the regular engineering calls, events and shared workspace rather than the money alone. Running that, plus a grants programme and a year-long fellowship for new contributors, is the operations job.
