Start9's news page, which lists the podcast and interview appearances its people have made, identifies Keagan McClelland as a co-founder of Start9.
The Colorado business register carries the earlier corporate history. Start9 Labs, LLC was formed in Colorado on 31 October 2019 with Keagan McClelland as its registered agent, and was voluntarily dissolved in June 2020. The current entity, Start9 Labs, Inc., is a Delaware corporation registered in Colorado from 16 July 2020.
His work is on StartOS, the operating system Start9 publishes as open source for running a personal server. Nothing beyond the role and the record is claimed here.
