Grayscale Investments, Inc.'s registration statement, amended on 29 January 2026, names him as agent for service and lists him in the management table as "Peter Mintzberg, 57, Chief Executive Officer and Director". The same document states that he "has been the Chief Executive Officer and served as a director of Grayscale since August 2024".
His prior roles are set out in the filing. He was global head of strategy for Goldman Sachs Asset & Wealth Management from 2023, and global head of strategy for Goldman Sachs Asset Management from 2021 to 2023. Before that he was global head of investor relations at Apollo from 2020 to 2021, and held leadership roles in strategy, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations at OppenheimerFunds and BlackRock.
He took the role after the DC Circuit decision of August 2023 and after the firm's bitcoin product began trading on NYSE Arca in January 2024, both of which predate his tenure.
