Xapo Bank's own board page lists him as "Director & CEO" and says he joined Xapo Bank in 2017. The same page gives the roles he held before that: Group Head of Liquidity and Funding Risk at Standard Chartered Bank, Chief Financial Officer of Equity Trading at Macquarie Group, Finance VP of Latin America Emerging Markets at Credit Suisse, and Senior Audit Manager at Arthur Andersen. It records an MBA from the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford.
He is the company's public voice on what it is doing and why. Xapo Bank's own review of 2025 places him on stage at a digital assets conference in London and on a podcast arguing for treating Bitcoin as a primary asset rather than a satellite one, which is the position the bank's products are built around.
The permissions the bank holds, and the separate entity that holds its customers' bitcoin, are set out on the Xapo Bank entry rather than here.
