Gemini's own announcement of its initial public offering describes the company as "a global crypto platform founded by Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss in 2014". Gemini's site names Tyler Winklevoss as chief executive and his brother as president.
Gemini's regulated entity, Gemini Trust Company, LLC, is licensed and supervised by the New York State Department of Financial Services. Gemini Space Station, Inc. priced its initial public offering at $28 a share on 11 September 2025 and its Class A stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market the following day under the ticker GEMI.
The Gemini Earn programme, and the regulatory settlements that followed its collapse, are covered on the Gemini entry rather than here, because those matters were brought against the company.
